A black band on the middle finger of the right hand has been a pride symbol for Asexual people for over 20 years.

But unfortunately finding a nice black band that won’t break if you tap it wrong (like a hematite band), loose it’s black color (like a plated band), or cause allergic reactions (many folks just can’t do metal); is quite a task. We’ve been working on a solution for several years that we’re finally happy to say stands up to our very strenuous testing.

This listing is for Pre-Orders of any of the 3 variations of our new Ace Pride Rings. Pre-Orders will be open through 11-10-25, at which point we will be ordering the ceramic cores from Canada so that we can start making your rings. Our current estimate is to have rings completed and ready to ship out by 12-15-25.

Description

New Ace Pride Rings feature a hearty ceramic core. These are extremely sturdy (they require diamond tools to cut/polish/engrave/etc) and keep both their shine and color through rough daily wear. And because they are ceramic there is no metal to cause allergic reactions. The cores are made for us in Canada.

The downside of ceramic is these cannot be sized.

Inlay on the rings is done with a dunenamel and stone mixture and then turned down to a smooth finish here in our Portland studio. We put a test ring with a softer stone than the black tourmaline (malachite) through over 2 years of stress testing including it not being removed when using household cleaners, aggressive cooking, machine grease and airplane innards; so we are confident in the strength and wearability of the inlay.
